•Gaussian beams, propagation through optical components. •Resonator optics •Photons and atoms •Laser amplifiers •Lasers •Statistical Optics, coherence Laboratory exercises: Helium Neon laser, Diode laser, Neodym laser. Project with a ray tracing programme.
