The course consists of compulsory lectures, seminars, workshops, oral or written exercises, and experimental projects carried out in groups of 1-4 people.

Types of instruction: Lectures, laboratory exercises, exercises, project, self-study literature review
Examination formats: Written report, seminars given by participants, miscellaneous.
To pass the course, the student must have (1) >95% attendance to all lectures and practical exercises, (2) handed in a written report and (3) made an oral presentation summarizing the literature study.
