The course consists of sub-blocks, each of which focuses on a research paper in the doctoral student's topic of specialization. For each sub-block, the following shall be met:
1. Literature search to select an appropriate scientific article.
2. The student reads and analyzes the article and write a report consisting of a) short summary, and b) critical evaluation. A number of questions are to be answered regarding methodology etc.
3. The student discusses the article in the group together with a course leader or supervisor.
When all steps are performed for one sub-block, the student receives 0.5 credits.
