In this course, the student perform a project within a subarea of computer science with connection to the resarch being performed at the department and the courses given at the department. The course gives an opportunity to further deepen the knowledge within an area of computer science the student has already become familiar with by taking other courses at the department. The course includes: supervised literature studies via databases and library supervised practical work within the chose project area written report in Swedish or English according to standard from international reviewed journals and oral presentation, in Swedish or English, at a public seminar Available project topics can vary from course instance to course instance and will be announced beforehand on the course web page. Examples of possible topics include language technology, intelligent systems, and compilers. No guarantee is given that all topics will be available at each course instance. If supervisors are available within the research groups of the department, an individual course plan can be made for a project performed within one of the research projects at the department.
