Course Contents

The course consists of sub-blocks, each of which focuses on a series of seminars related to aerosol science. For each sub-block, the following shall be met: 1. The PhD student shall participate in about 5 seminars (on a scientific level), that are determined in advance together with supervisor/examiner 2. The PhD student writes a report for each seminar consisting of a) short summary, b) analyses including literature comparison and c) a reflection on application in own research area. 3. The PhD student discusses the seminars in group together with the course examiner. When all steps are performed for one sub-block, the student receives 1 credit.

Admission Details

Admission requirements: Admitted to doctoral studies. The course is open to all PhD students.

Further Information

The course can give a maximum of 5 credits and is ongoing continuously during the doctoral studies. Unlike the course "Reading Course in Aerosol Technology" (MAM001F), the seminar course builds on lectures, tutorials at conferences and presentations with the purpose of broadening the understanding of the research education topic and linking own research to new technologies and surrounding society. Seminars/tutorials are selected together with supervisors in such a way that they do not overlap with other doctoral courses.
