    1. The PhD student shall participate in about 5 seminars (on a scientific level), that are determined in advance together with supervisor/examiner
    2. The PhD student writes a report for each seminar consisting of a) short summary, b) analyses including literature comparison and c) a reflection on application in own research area.
    3. The PhD student discusses the seminars in group together with the course examiner.

When all steps are performed for one sub-block, the student receives 1 credit.
Knowledge and Understanding
  • For a passing grade the doctoral student must

demonstrate knowledge about the methodology and discourse in the research area
Competences and Skills
  • For a passing grade the doctoral student must
  • demonstrate the ability to analyse and critically review the presented research

Further Information
  • The course can give a maximum of 5 credits and is ongoing continuously during the doctoral studies. Unlike the course "Reading Course in Aerosol Technology" (MAM001F), the seminar course builds on lectures, tutorials at conferences and presentations with the purpose of broadening the understanding of the research education topic and linking own research to new technologies and surrounding society. Seminars/tutorials are selected together with supervisors in such a way that they do not overlap with other doctoral courses.
